Silkwood Winter Warmer Beverages

MULLED WINES


¾ cup Silkwood Pinot Noir           
2 teaspoons sugar               
2cm stick cinnamon or ¼ tspn ground       
¼ teaspoon nutmeg            
2 to 3 whole cloves           
Dash of lemon juice.

Heat all ingredients in saucepan over  Medium heat. Do not boil. Pour into Mug and serve.                  

HOT BUTTERED RUM

¼ cup dark rum
¼ cup Silkwood Old Dog Port
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
pinch nutmeg

Pour boiling water into mug. Add sugar and butter, stir till sugar dissolved. Add Rum and port. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.

HOT TODDY

3 tablespoons brandy
2 tablespoons Silkwood Old Dog Port
1 teaspoon sugar
1 lemon wedge
¾ cup boiling water
2 to 3 whole cloves

Stick cloves into lemon. Place in mug and add brandy, port and sugar.  Top up mug with boiling water.
