Silkwood Lakeside Cellar Door is the perfect location for a romantic wedding, birthday or other special celebration.
Wishing to maintain the peaceful ambiance of this lovely property, only small special gatherings are held in this simply gorgeous setting.
For a wedding or a renewal of vows ceremony, the backdrop of the lake is very picturesque. However, there are some other equally lovely places on the rolling lawns or tucked a little further into the native bush of Karri, Marri and Jarrah trees. The choice is the guests—just depending on the wishes of the Guests and their preference for background photographs. These photographs will be for you a spectacular reminder of the beauty of this little part of the Southern Forests area of Western Australia. There are not many places left, where the backdrop for photographs can be a natural old growth forest!
Due to our small kitchen size we have set menus for our group bookings. Lakeside functions consist of a variety of small servings, presenting many different tastes that partner perfectly with the easy drinking fruity style of wine grown in the vineyard and produced in the ‘state of the art’ winery on the property.
Silkwood has also started up Corporate Functions where work functions, seminars and conferences can be held. We have a choice of venue only or morning tea - lunch provided.
Silkwood Lakeside’s presentation is ideal for group luncheons.
