Terms and Conditions
Deposits & Full Payments
A deposit of 50% of total booking is to be paid at the time of booking by credit card to secure a booking (specials or last minute bookings may require full payment at time of booking). We accept Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard.
Full payment is due one month prior to arrival date.
Standard rate: $330 per night
Rates
All tariffs are quoted in Australian Dollars.
Tariffs are per night/chalet, for single or double occupancy and include breakfast on the first morning.
Cancellation & Refunds
The deposit is refundable, less $50.00 administration levy, if cancellation occurs more than one month prior to arrival date (the deposit may in some circumstances be transferred in full to a later booking date).
Minimum Night Bookings
2 night minimum with a three night minimum on long weekends and school holidays.
Reservations of particular chalets
We endeavour to at all times comply with requests for a particular chalet.
Check In and Check Out Times
Check in Time is from 2:00pm (1400 Hours)
Check out Time is 10:00am (1000 Hours)
Smoking
Silkwood is smoke free inside the chalets. However, guests can smoke on outside decks where ashtrays are provided. An additional cleaning fee of $100 will be debited to your credit card if evidence of smoking inside is found.
Respect for Neighbours
The chalets are located in a quiet and peaceful surround. Guests must respect the rights of those also staying in other chalets by keeping noise levels to an acceptable level particularly at night. Management reserves the right of eviction for disturbing noise levels or annoying behaviour.
Pets
Unfortunately Silkwood cannot accommodate pets.
Noise related to Agricultural Activities
Silkwood Chalets are situated on over 200 acres and are adjacent to our working vineyard consisting of 70 acres of vines. Silkwood also has a neighbouring avocado farm. Farming equipment like tractors, mowers and harvest machinery may at times cause some noise. Our chalets are well insulated and have double glazed windows and most farming activities are limited to day time hours. However, we wish to advise our guests that we don’t have any control over noise generated from farming activities outside our property and are therefore unable to accept responsibility in any form.
